Welcome to my studio and art gallery. I am a visual artist with a passion for mixed-media and collage art. My images are inspired by many things such as a dream, a feeling, something suddenly remembered, a song, or a particular experience, and explore emotional responses to life, colour, pattern and language. The coloured papers used for my collages are sourced from quality light-fast stocks, where possible, such as the Daler Canford range, so that you will be able to enjoy the artwork for many years into the future. I select colour combinations of paper in a similar way to mixing paint on a palette, laying papers together to determine tonal / colour graduations. The collaged layers are then individually hand-cut and placed upon a card base. At this stage, the layers are still mobile, and can be moved around until I feel the design is complete, and the layers can then be glued and fixed into position. Each collage is individually hand-made, signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from my studio. Where possible, my collages will be supplied with a pre-cut mount, which will fit a standard sized frame, for ease and widest selection of framing options. Your purchase will be carefully packaged and shipped to you, to ensure your chosen artwork arrives in perfect condition.
